The SRV-1 robot includes a Java-based console software that has a built-in web server, which lets you control it via a web browser from anywhere in the world (Provided you hook it up to the Internet, assign it with an Internet-viewable IP or domain name). You can even archive the video feeds on demand or on a schedule basis.
The SRV-1 surveillance robot costs $475, comes fully assembled and ready to use out-of-box. But to setup the software, you need to posses little technical knowledge including Java, networking and dealing with the command line.
